NEW YORK - Good Morning America co-host Robin Roberts will be returning to the show Wednesday, Feb. 20.
Co-anchor George Stephanopoulos announced the date during the show Thursday. Roberts will initially work a limited schedule before easing back into being on-air five days a week.
Roberts has been out since early September after being diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome or MDS, a rare blood disorder. Roberts received a bone marrow transplant from her sister Sally-Ann and has since been recovering at home.
Last month, Roberts made a live appearance on GMA from her New York City home. She announced her plans to return to air sometime this month.
Roberts has been going through dry runs on the GMA set and readjusting to her old surroundings.
