Social media was abuzz before during and after the Oscars.

Jennifer Lawrence was the talk of the Live Red Carpet chat on WCPO.com: her dress, her red carpet interviews, and of course her fall on the way up to accept her award.

ABC.com's Technology Review blog breaks down some of the other highlights and low lights.

First: Seth MacFarlane led the show and much of the conversation on Twitter and Facebook. The reviews on social media were decidedly mixed.

Jennifer Hudson, Adele and Barbra Streisand all got raves on social media.

There were 82,300 tweets per minute during Adele's performance of Skyfall and on Facebook her performance was the top Oscar moment.

The Jaws music that played when winners went on too long, was popular and so was first lady Michelle Obama's appearance to present the best picture nod for Argo.

The satirical online magazine The Onion may have gone too far with at least one Oscar tweet. USA Today reports "Twitter exploded in rage after a tweet at 11:42 pm Sunday" that referred to nominee Quvenzhané Wallis, age 9, with a derogatory term.

By 1 a.m. Monday, dozens of tweets per second were being posted, most expressing fury over The Onion's tweet. The post disappeared from Twitter soon after.

If you missed the Academy Awards, you can view the entire show online for a limited time. Monday, Feb. 25 at 6 a.m. through Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 12 a.m. ET, the entire show will be available on ABC.com , the ABC Player app, Hulu and Hulu Plus. You can also watch it on ABC On Demand.
