LONDON - A bible that once belonged to Elvis Presley took in $94,600 at an auction.
The bible was given to Elvis for his first Christmas at the Graceland Mansion in 1957. It contains handwritten notes from Presley.
It was sold to an American living in the UK. He kept the bible until his death in 1977.
The entire Elvis collection sold for $160,000. One item that did not sell was a pair of soiled underwear that he wore during a 1977 concert. Other items sold include jewelry, cufflinks and shoes.
