Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars have to be fast on their feet for 'Dancing with the Stars' week 2

Week two for the All-Star season of “Dancing with the Stars” promises to keep the couples on their toes. The remaining 12 couples must all perform either a jive or the quickstep during Monday evening's show.

On the jive side, we have actress Kirstie Alley and Maks; racecar driver Helio Castroneves and Chelsie; Olympian Shawn Johnson and Derek; singer Drew Lachey and Anna; actor Gilles Marini and Peta; and TV host Melissa Rycroft and Tony.

As for the quickstep, we’ll get singer Sabrina Bryan and Louis; singer Joey Fatone and Kym; actress Kelly Monaco and Val; Olympian Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina; reality star Bristol Palin; and football retiree Emmitt Smith and Cheryl.

Knowing this lineup for week two, there are certain things to look for. For instance, the jive is a pretty fast and demanding, and Kirstie may not have her endurance up to speed yet.

Kirstie tweeted, “hi ya'll..tough day at the studio.. Cried like a baby no less than 5 times...it's an emotional thing when u get frustrated w yourself ..;).”

Even Drew said the jive was a tough one, tweeting, “Holy Smokes!!! I am tired. This jive is trying to kill me. Thanks @ atrebunskaya for another great day. # DWTS .”

Also, look to see how Kelly and Val do; after week one, they clearly seem to excel at chemistry and passion, but the quickstep is not known for those characteristics.

But the quickstep can even wind an Olympian, according to Apolo, who tweeted, “Cranking a good week thus far...our quickstep is full of energy....I'm in recharge mode right now...Zzzzzzzzz.”

Retired or not, Emmitt is ready for the fast-paced dance, tweeting, “Week 2 # DWTS - lets get it! RT @ CherylBurke ...Time to Quickstep!!”

On week one, actress Pamela Anderson and Tristan were the first All-Star couple to get kicked off. The performances of week two begin Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
