Amy Wadas

Amy Wadas joined the 9 News team in July of 2012 as a Multimedia Journalist. You’ll find Amy submitting reports during the evening newscasts.

Before WCPO-TV, Amy worked for three years for the CBS/ABC/FOX affiliate WTRF-TV in the Wheeling, WV—Steubenville, OH market as a reporter and the Noon anchor/producer. While there, Amy also gained valuable experience shooting and editing her own stories and working extensively with social media and the web.

Amy was also formerly a journalist for the website Examiner.com. She wrote about different news happenings that occurred in and around the Pittsburgh area.

She also spent some time working for an advertising and public relations agency in Pittsburgh.

A Penn State University graduate, Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Health Policy and Administration.
