Born and raised in Cincinnati, Adam Marshall joined WCPO in 2008.
He says his joy in life is his precious daughter Mia.
After graduating from Lakota East High School in West Chester, Adam earned a journalism degree from Northern Kentucky University.
Days after graduating from NKU, Adam packed his bags to accept a job in Kansas. While there, Adam anchored and reported for the dominant #1 station in Wichita. He also earned four Kansas Association of Broadcasters Awards.
In 2008, WCPO came calling so Adam moved back to Cincinnati. After being hired as a Multimedia Journalist, Adam was promoted to Good Morning Tri-State Weekend Anchor. In January of 2012, WCPO decided to put a strong emphasis on traffic and transportation in the Tri-State. Adam was asked to sit in the driver's seat of this new venture and is currently WCPO's Transportation Specialist. You can watch his traffic reports every weekday morning on Good Morning Tri-State. Adam also reports all things transportation for other newscasts throughout the day.
Adam credits his stepfather Chic Poppe for inspiring him to become a broadcast journalist. Chic is an Emmy Award winning photographer who retired from WCPO after a more than 40 year career.
