Skycam 9

Skycam homeSkycam9 is on top of the One Lytle Place apartment building in downtown Cincinnati.

One Lytle Place is on East Mehring Way.

The camera is used both on-air during WCPO-TV, Channel 9 newscasts and online as a webcam. The camera's pan, tilt and zoom capabilities are controlled by a remote control unit at the WCPO studios.


Google map locating Skycam9You can see from the Google map at left that Skycam9 offers one of the most comprehensive views of the Tri-state because of its strategic location.

For that reason, 9News often uses Skycam to zoom in to nearby breaking news locations.
