A seven car pile-up slowed rush hour traffic to a crawl on I-275 Tuesday morning.
First reports of the accident, just east of Winton Road in the eastbound lanes, came in about 6:30 am.
Traffic was bumper to bumper with about a 25 minutes delay from Hamilton Avenue.
Interstate 275 is being widened in that area and the construction work added to delays throughout the morning.
By 8:30 am, police officers cleared away most of the debris, and the the expressway was reopened.
Police said injuries were reported, but wouldn't say how many people were taken to the hospital.
