Haran Rocks the Reds

Arizona's Dan Haran handcuffed the Cincinnati Reds for seven innings and hit his first career home run in a 6-2 victory Tuesday at Great American Ball Park.

Haran carried a no-hitter into the fifth inning.  Jay Bruce broke it up with a single.  Haran allowed only four hits and one run in seven innngs of work.

He hit his home run against Reds starter Bronson Arroyo in the sixth inning, giving Arizona a 6-0 lead.  Miguel Montero had preceded Haran to the plate with a two run homer that traveled an estimated 422 feet to the centerfield stands.
