The South Carolina Stingrays scored four times in the second period to claim a 7-4 win over the Cincinnati Cyclones in game one of the ECHL American Conference finals Saturday night.
The Stingrays led 6-1 after two periods, and even though the Cyclones scored three goals in the final period, it wasn't enough.
Game two of the best-of-seven series will be played in Charleston, South Carolina Monday night.
The series will return to Cincinnati for game three on Wednesday night.
