CINCINNATI - University of Cincinnati officials are planning to invest close to $10 million for several athletic practice fields.
The project is part of the University's strategy to retain football coach Brian Kelly.
The athletic department will pay for the $10 million project and also agreed to repay the temporary bonds through private donation and game contracts.
The project includes one full practice field and one half-field, located at Corry Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue.
The construction plan will be presented to UC Board of Trustees Tuesday morning, with quick approval expected.
