CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati head football coach Brian Kelly will take advantage of the Bearcats’ weekend off and travel to Bristol, Conn., Friday, for a day of TV and radio appearances at ESPN.
Kelly is scheduled to appear on ESPN2’s First Take at 11:20 a.m., the Scott Van Pelt Show between 2-4 p.m., College Football Live from 3:30-4 p.m., as well as a segment on ESPNews at 3:10 p.m.
He will also tape several segments that will air over the weekend and in the coming week on ESPN, including hits with College GameDay Radio, College GameDay Tailgate, Mike Tirico’s Weekend Blitz, SportsCenter and Outside the Lines.
No. 8/10 Cincinnati (5-0, 1-0 BIG EAST) is idle this week in advance of an Oct. 15 matchup with No. 23/24 USF at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally by ESPN.

UC’s home matchups with Louisville (Oct. 24), and West Virginia (Nov. 13) are sold out.
