CINCINNATI --  More crowds are expected outside the Millvale or Hopple Street Neighborhood Health Center Friday afternoon, where another H1N1 vaccine clinic will be held.

Starting at 1 p.m. Friday afternoon, the Cincinnati Health Department will begin offering more H1N1 swine flu vaccinations at the center at 2750 Beekman Street, just south of the Hopple Street viaduct.

As tight supplies of the vaccine improve; health officials hope to hold a vaccine clinic here every Friday afternoon between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The last time the Cincinnati Health Department held a H1N1 flu vaccine clinic on Wednesday; it was swamped with people at high risk, waiting their turn to get an injection or the nasal mist vaccine.

Health officials in Cincinnati and throughout the Tri-State are asking for patience, as they slowly get their vaccine supplies from the manufacturers.

That's why these initial clinics are being restricted only those people at highest risk for complications, like pregnant women, young people under 24-years-old, health and emergency workers and adults with chronic illnesses.

Another vaccine clinic will be held in Middletown Saturday morning, at Johnson Hall, on the Miami University Middletown campus. It will run from 9 a.m. Saturday through 1 p.m. The Middletown Health Department says it currently has 1800 vaccinations on hand, ready to distribute to those at high risk and the people who care for them.

All this comes, as a new Ohio poll shows at least half of all Ohioans are worried about getting the H1N1 or swine flu, and as many as third of them say they want to get the vaccine.
