An interview with Michel Veillette's mistress reveals more about the lies that allegedly led to the murder of Veillette's wife and four children.
The recorded interview is among the evidence released from the prosecutor's office on Tuesday.
The 20 CDs are full of details of the investigation. The office started making the evidence public after Veillette hanged himself in the Warren County Jail. The most telling information comes from Veillette's mistress, an adult dancer in Windsor, Canada.
Sabba Siraj said Veillette told her he was sick and dying. Still, she said she wanted to marry him and he wanted to marry her.
Siraj told investigators she had a sexual relationship with Veillette and that her last conversation with him was in Windsor the day before he was accused of killing his wife and children.
Siraj said, "The conversation was I am going to be with you and we're going to spend the rest of our lives together. It looked like he kept on pushing me to get a divorce kept telling me, leave your husband, leave your husband. All this time I kept thinking, he said I ended all my relations with everybody, I'm changing the job I'm doing. He wanted to stay in one job. Work a 9-to-5 job and go to South Carolina."
Siraj said she didn't know Veillette was having financial trouble and that he spent a lot of money on her.
According to investigators, Siraj said Veillette never told her he had a wife and four children.
Siraj said, "Saying he was going to dying.. he'd dying.. not feeling well, has a childhood friend who lives in Ohio."
Surveillance video of Veillette at the Soho restaurant in West Chester three hours before the murders was also released on Tuesday.
The video shows Veillette sending some text messages, ordering sushi and leaving the restaurant 30 minutes later.
Photos of the crime scene show the house had extensive smoke damage.
There is also a picture of the melted gas can Veillette allegedly used to accelerate the fire, the fry pan he claimed his wife Nadya hit him with and a soot-covered cake that was going to be eaten the next day to celebrate his son Vincent's fifth birthday.
While investigators said Veillette was having financial problems, the mistress said he was living a lavish life with her in Canada.
