The Mason, Ohio home where a family was murdered last year now has a new owner.

The home belonging to the Veillette family on Brackenview Court sold to Deutsche Bank Monday morning for the minimum bid of $240,000. The house was appraised at $360,000.

Investigators say Michel Veillette stabbed his wife, Nadya, then set fire to the couple's home, killing their four children, Marguerite, Vincent, Jacob and Mia on January 11, 2008.

Investigators believe Michel Veillette wanted to start a new life with his girlfriend in Canada.

Detectives said Veillette made about $250,000 a year, but he was having money problems because he was spending so much money with his girlfriend.

Detectives also say Veillette lost $100,000 gambling over the two years before the murders.

Michel Veillette hanged himself in his Warren County jail cell in April while awaiting trial.
