Report On Fire That Killed Two Firefighters To Be Released Friday

The Colerain Township Fire Department plans to release its preliminary report on the house fire that killed two firefighters in April.

Captain Robin Broxterman and Firefighter Brian Schira died April 4 while battling a fire on Squirrelsnest Lane.

Their families have already seen the report.

Colerain Township firefighters will have a chance to review it before it's released to the public Friday afternoon.

Captain Steve Conn says the report will include a basic timeline of events.

Over the next year, the department will examine procedures and strategies to prevent future tragedies.
