A raging fire may cause some motorists in Colerain Township to adjust their driving patterns Tuesday.
The Colerain Fire Department is conducting a training drill that involves intentionally setting a house at 11378 Hughes Road on fire.
As a result, Hughes Road will be closed between Bank Road and Struble Road from 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The deaths of Captain Robin Broxterman and firefighter Brian Schira earlier this year reminded everyone that fighting fires is dangerous and too often deadly.
Officials say planned exercises like this help train firefighters and ensure they are prepared for the dangerous work they do.
