Web produced by: Megan Wasmund Contributor: Carole RawlinsSunday night, October 5, Tri-State families will gather to watch as a local family is featured in ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
The Akers family of West Chester was selected by the show for a new home, partly because the two Akers' girls, Brooke and Faith, suffer from spinal muscular atrophy.
Their father, Greg, and brother, Christian, have Crohn's disease.
9News has produced a special show with behind the scenes video and information you won't see on the national broadcast.
Watch out special "Extreme Tri-State Dream" at 7:00 p.m. Sunday night.
The "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" show with the Akers family airs at 8:00 p.m.
The Akers family has also invited the community to watch the show Sunday night at their church, Princeton Pike Church of God at
6101 Princeton Glendale Road in Liberty Township.
There will be six large screens for viewing and room for thousands of guests.
You can also watch both shows on the big screen in Fountain Square after the Bengals game.
