Virginia Tech students, family and faculty members gathered at the campus on Sunday to commemorate those who died in the April 16 massacre.
Bells tolled every 32 seconds during the ceremony in honor of each victim.
The university unveiled a new memorial with separate stones for each of the 32 individuals.
The families of the victims were also presented with the original "Hokie" stones from the temporary memorials.
