A downtown hotel went on the auction block Thursday.
The Hyatt Regency Cincinnati sold for the minimum bid of $16.4 million during a sheriff's sale.
The hotel is expected to stay open and the Hyatt corporation will continue to manage and oversee day-today operation.
The buyer was its lender, a New York based company which claimed the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati hadn't made mortgage payments in more than a year.
