COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Authorities in Ohio say they believe two teenagers shot and killed each other simultaneously outside a gas station.

Columbus police say they arrived on the scene on the city's east side early Sunday and found the bodies of 16-year-old Marquan Stovall and 18-year-old Kahil Bass. One was dead inside a vehicle, the other was lying beside the vehicle in the Shell gas station parking lot.

Investigators say it appeared each had opened fire on the other during a confrontation.

Police are seeking tips from the public on what might have led to the shooting.
