CINCINNATI -- A man wanted for allegedly trying to take a picture of a juvenile female inside a local mall's bathroom is behind bars.
According to Springdale police, on May 25, Chester Lee Hatton Jr. attempted to use his cell phone to take a picture of the female who was inside a bathroom stall at Tri-County Mall.
Police say Hatton, 45, was able to leave the mall and escape apprehension.
On June 20, Sears Loss Prevention noticed a suspicious man watching the area of the women's restroom.
Authorities say Hatton, who is a registered sex offender and currently on parole, entered the women's restroom and looked into a bathroom stall at a female adult.
Hatton was arrested and brought to the police department where he was questioned and released.
Three days later, Hatton was taken into custody on two counts of voyeurism. One of the counts is a felony because one of the victims was a juvenile.
Hatton is currently being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
