I feel sorry for her to a degree. Yes, it was a horrible decision to leave this child like this...obviously she was in a horrible emotion state. Mental illnesses, severe depression, desperation, etc. should be looked upon with love and understanding. Why do we want to lock her up and throw away the key? She had the child and left him where he would be found. Bad choices, but she chose life and you're comdemning her anyway. Women...work together and help each other. Why do women hate other women so much when they know nothing about the situation?

I don't feel a bit sorry for the mother or whomever left the baby there, they need to be caught and jailed!!! That's just absolutely crazy. How could you leave a innocent baby w/ no clothes nothing in the grass, what a piece of sh&&&t this person is! I hope they catch whoever did this!!!! I'm glad the baby boy is okay and I hope he gets a good home, I'll take him!!!

sensi21, ((hugs)) I am so glad you were able to have 2 more babies. I was living in Charlotte, NC when Susan Smith committed this horrible crime, we had moved there with my husbands job for 10 years. We lived about 5 miles from that lake. When the story first broke, the community was divided as to her story, sounded a little too convenient! Well, sure enough, she finally broke down and told the truth. Those boys father wanted them and he'd have gladly taken them "off her hands" since she was more concerned with keeping her new boyfriend than she was taking care of her kids. Her new boyfriend wasn't ready for a family, so she thought if she got rid of her kids, she could hang on to this new man. What a POS she is. It still baffles me as to how any woman can kill her kids, or dump them out on the side of the road. I just do not understand that.

I want to hear the 911 call. I know I would be crying so hard, no one would be able to understand me.

This is sad. Too many people out there wanting babies that can't have them. Then there are those who treat them as if they were trash. I'm glad the baby was found alive. Now he will get the loving home he deserves.

Poor girl poor girl my foot! Anything could have happened to the baby. She has problems,PLEASE she didn't have problems when she was kickin it and having fun! Reading comments like some of these is exactly y this is done cuz everyone will feel sorry 4 me, i was scared and so on and so on can i suggest group therapy 4 the whoever is leavin the mushy woe is me comments.

I hope they find the person or people responsible for this and bring them into the city limits to announce what they did. I'll bet money before you finish the entire sentence they'd be beaten within an inch of their life or lives.

Thank God he'll be okay, and just hope the "county" doesn't drag their feet, like they so often do, and does go ahead and allow some deserving people to adopt him. She was wrong in what she did, but compared to some so-called "moms", it may well have a happy ending. Just glad she did not kill or discard him in the trash somewhere.
