DES MOINES, Iowa -- A fast-acting construction worker is being hailed a hero after he went above and beyond to pull of a dramatic water rescue.

Jason Oglesbee was working near a local river when he saw a boat capsize and sink in the water.

Using a crane on the construction site, Oglesbee had another worker lower him down to a woman floating in the river.

"I just told her to hang on tight and don't let go, so that's all I know," says Oglesbee. "The crane drug her to the boat and the boat hauled her away."

Although the woman was in the water for at least 30 minute, she is expected to be okay. Another man with her in the boat at the time did not survive.
