An allegedly drunk driver was stopped by police on Wednesday night, and authorities say she had her daughter and an open malt beverage with her.
Newtown police stopped 45-year-old Diane Dick of Bethel on Roundbottom Road after reportedly discovering a warrant associated with her license plate.
Police say they found her daughter, age unknown, and an open can of Steel Reserve beer in her minivan. Dick allegedly refused all OVI testing.
She is facing several charges including felony child endangering.
