The USS Nightmare in Newport, Kentucky has scheduled a job fair for Friday and Saturday.
The president of the USS Nightmare said applicants should have a fun, energetic attitude and be at least 18 years old. Between 60 and 70 people will be hired to haunt the steamboat for the 2009 season.
The job fair will be held at the USS Nightmare Dock on the Newport waterfront along Riverboat Row in front of Newport on the Levee. Applicants can choose to come from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday or noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The season will begin with a debut showing during Riverfest on Sunday September 6 from noon until 8 p.m. The annual preview weekend is set for Friday September 18 and Saturday September 19 from 7 p.m. until midnight. The regular season will run from September 25 through November 1. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday night shows are from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. The USS Nightmare will remain open until 1 a.m on Friday and Saturday.
The popular family friendly "lights on" matinee returns this season. It is set for Sunday October 25 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
