Milford students and the community plan to remember their late principal with a special event.
A Memorial Celebration for Dr. Ray Bauer takes place Thursday at the Milford High School Football Stadium (see map below).
Guests are asked to bring their own food for a picnic at 7 p.m., and then a more formal service will begin at 8:30 p.m.
Bauer was not only a big part of Milford, but he served as a teacher and principal for several other local districts during his career, including Princeton High School.
He collapsed Saturday night while exercising. He was 63 years old.
Instead of sending flowers, the family requests that you donate to the Ray Bauer Memorial Scholarship Fund through Milford High School. Checks can be made payable to: Milford High School--Ray Bauer Memorial Scholarship.

Bauer's visitation is set for Saturday at the Faith United Methodist Church (8230 Cox Road) in West Chester. It runs from 9 - 11 a.m. A Celebration Memorial Service runs from 11 a.m. - noon.
