Banks are starting to request a certain dress code for their customers.
Locally, in Miami Township, signs will soon go up at banks requesting that customers not wear ballcaps, sunglasses or hooded sweatshirts.
It is believed that by banning the clothing popular with bank robbers, theives may be inclined to take their crime elsewhere, says Miami Township's police chief.
According to the FBI, the same ban at banks in Columbus and other states has proven effective at deterring bank heists over the past couple of years.
WHAT DO YOU THINK? WILL THE DRESS CODE HELP PREVENT BANK ROBBERIES?
