TPC River's Bend is rounding up players for a fun day of golf and fine food to raise money for our wounded veterans.
The "Birdies for the Brave" golf event and dinner happens Monday, October 5th at the prestigious country club in Mainville.
The after-golf reception will feature local real estate broker John Prazynski, who lost his only son, Taylor, in Iraq in 2005. He will be the keynote speaker.
"Birdies for the Brave" is the PGA Tour's primary vehicle for supporting our troops and their families.
Funds raised by the PGA Tour and TPC River's Bend will go to six charities that help veterans, including "Homes For Our Troops," a non-profit supported by Tour player Phil Mickelson that adapts or builds new homes designed for military men and women returning to America with serious injuries and disabilities.
Sponsorship packages are available as well as foursomes and individual entries.
The entry fee for individuals is $650 dollars and includes the day of golf and dinner reception and auction.
For those interested in the dinner and auction only, the fee is $250.
