Complaint Filed Against Housing Board

Last Update: 9/03 1:36 am
A Cincinnati lawyer is asking for a federal investigation, calling into question whether the chairman of the city's housing board sought revenge against him.

Robert Newman filed the complaint against CHMA chairman Arnold Barnett with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Newman is upset with comments Barnett made that insinuated that the housing board would put more Section Eight housing in Hyde Park, where Newman lives.

Neither man objects to putting public housing in Hyde Park, however, Newman says his original concern is with the voucher program.
