Twenty-five-year-old Oscar Armstrong died five years ago Friday as he looked for victims inside a burning building in Bond Hill.
Armstrong was remembered at Engine Nine's fire station on Reading Road.
The memorial took place at 8:35 a.m., which is around the same time the fire took place five years ago.
