Clermont County is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States, just east of Cincinnati. As of 2000, the population was 177,977, and estimated at 190,589 in 2005. Its county seat is Batavia. Clermont County's Point Pleasant is the birthplace of General Ulysses S. Grant.
