Police say a teenage boy who led them on an early morning chase before crashing into a Sharonville home doesn't even have a driver's license.
According to police, the incident began in Blue Ash around 6 a.m. Monday when police clocked a car going 71 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officer initiated a stop of the vehicle near Plainfield Road and Fox Hollow Drive. Police say the 15-year-old driver pulled onto the side of the road and struck a curb. As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver fled at a high rate of speed northbound on Plainfield Road.
The officer got back in his car and pursued the driver where the vehicle exited the roadway and crashed into the front yard of home in the
4100 block of Wenbrook Drive in Sharonville. Police say the driver exited the vehicle on foot and was apprehended after an officer deployed a taser.
The teen was charged with fleeing and eluding and operated a motor vehicle without a valid license.
He was cited to Hamilton County Juvenile Court after he was treated and released from Bethesda North Hospital.
