An Avondale mother accused of locking her children in a closet is facing more than 100 years in prison.
Prosecutors say Beverly Fears left her five-year-old and 20-month- old son locked in a closet while she went to work.
Neighbors called police after hearing the older boy pound for help.
On Friday, Fears was indicted on 12 counts of child endangering and two counts kidnapping.
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said the abuse in this situation is comparable to the Marcus Fiesel Case.
Fears' sons were allegedly malnourished and the five-year-old boy had ligature marks on his wrists and multiple bruises.
