The Sanitation District No.1 of Northern Kentucky is launching a new pilot program to help residents with storm water run off.

The Sanitation District is now accepting order forms for the "Raintainer."

It's a 55-gallon barrel that stores water from a downspout.

The price is $124.88, and the money goes towards the manufacturing of the barrel.

The "Raintainer" also features a removable lid that can be used as a planter so it blends in with your home.

"This has a 12-inch planter on top so you can put plants on top of this thing and disguise it into the landscape. So it's a neat design and that's the reason we went this one," said Craig Frye with Sanitation District No. 1.

You must place your order by the end of March so your "Raintainer" will be available for pick up in April.
