The Northside Farmers Market moved this year from Lingo and Hamilton avenues to Hoffner Park at the corner of Hamilton Avenue and Blue Rock.
The move gives vendors and customers more space, plus kids have a playground to play.
Last year the customers had to navigate their way around traffic and this year they can take their time shopping.
Tim Jeckering is the president of the Northside Community Council and he says the move will create more traffic for the vendors.
“Better visibility, more openness and more places for the kids to play – and more space for the farmers to come and sell their wares,” says Jeckering.
The market is open every Wednesday afternoon from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
