Ordinarily, the fact that a tree is growing in Clermont County wouldn't be news.

But, these trees are different.

They're Sugarberries, or Sugar Hackberry trees.

And the state says it's the first new species of tree to be found growing in Ohio in almost 70 years.

It was found near the Ohio river towns of Chilo and Utopia.

The berries are edible.

Birds love 'em.
