The Hamilton County Park District has more park land now thanks to some help from the Rumpke companies.
The 184 acres is near the Oak Glen Nature Preserve on Thompson Road in Colerain Township was acquired from Rumpke.
The land was purchased for $1.1 million with over $917,000 coming from a Clean Ohio Conservation Program grant.
Over the years, Rumpke has helped the park district with some 361 acres of land.
