When are we going to hold the Chief responsible for his behavior. He lies, threatens, intimidates and abuses his authority over and over again. But we arer forced to continue to pay his $150,000.00 + salary. He has to go. I say we ban the Chief to Radcliff and give him nothing to do, because we can't trust him to do his job! I demand he be FIRED!

juemkaja, what caused the incident is really irrelevant. Could have been anything, really, something important or (as in the actual occurrence0 something trivial. Point is not the football crap, point is a police sergeant may have tried to intimidate an officer under her command into lying. She may also have claimed a special "relationship" with the chief would allow her to do anything she wanted to. This is the heart of the incident, and it most definitely does matter.

Pittsburg garb, are you kidding me. Don't we have enough financial woes in the Cincinnati area? Here we are again spending money, which the city doesn't have, …don’t get me started on The Banks Project…on this kind of foolish investigation. Let’s spend this money on a few kids who are living in squalor. Let’s spend this money on additional staff at the Child Services offices to be sure that these kids are being kept save and have a voice on their side, how many times do I have to hear that we don’t have enough resources in these areas. Yes, I know these funds come from different areas, but I say lets realign the extra money that the police department seems to have to the Child Services groups. Was anyone hurt? Did the guys have a bit of fun at work? Are their bigger fish to fry? My answer to all of this is YES! Will the higher ups please find some real work to do?

You know, I have the utmost respect for police officers and firemen. I can't even begin to imagine how hard their jobs must be. The stress is undoubtedly immense. Especially for cops in Cincinnati. Everything they do is scrutinized by the whole country these days. BUT: I also believe that these public servants HAVE to be held to a higher standard. By that I mean that as a matter of respect for the job they do anyone who threatens or harms one of them ought to have the "book" thrown at them. In turn, any cop or firefighter who abuses their authority deserves the same heavy punishment. I truly believe that the vast majority of police are good, honest people. That said, there are undoubtedly rotten apples in the barrel and every one of them who gets caught ought to be kicked off the force immediately, denied their pension, and prosecuted to the fullest extent possible. These are the people we're supposed to go to when we need help. They are the very ones who enforce the laws that are supposed to keep our society safe. When one (or more) of them tramples those laws underfoot it undermines every other cop. This is what makes stories like this so disgusting. So one of the Chief's friends is in trouble because she did something idiotic. And what does he do? Hold her responsible for her actions? No, he tries to sweep the whole thing under the rug thereby reinforcing her immoral behavior. The good, honest, decent cops tried to do the right thing but got slapped down by their boss. It's pathetic! He ought to be kicked out on his rear and his little friend can go right along with him. The cops who broke this mess open should get medals.

Uh-oh.....who could the mystery investigators be ??? Bet it will be interesting to see who "investigates" this one! Man,Cincy has really gone down the tubes. Raping, lying and drunkeness and that's just the police force....drug running, theft, porn, lies and a missing million dollars....wait,was the missing million cops or fire fighters?? Doesn't really matter I guess. All signs lead to INCOMPETENT "leaders" that just can't get it done! Dohoney has not a clue!
