Try-It-Out-Tuesday: Zippity

They call it the "Nintendo Wii for the pre-school set," and it's flying off store shelves.

It's Disney's new venture with Leap Frog called the Zippity.

It is definitely popular but, at $80, is it worth the money?

We wanted to know so we put it to the test for Try-it-out-Tuesday.

Set up is simple; you just plug it into your TV, turn it on, and go. In fact, it was so easy that Good Morning Tri-State Anchor Katherine Nero's 3-year-old daughter Annabelle did it herself.

All of our young testers loved the interactive games. Each of the eight games has two levels, so bigger kids weren't too bored.

One young tester even threatened to run away to California if he couldn't keep the Zippity, and another already declared that she wants one for Christmas. Most of the other testers were equally enthralled and had to be eventually torn away from the game.

Five-year-old Trevor was a bit indifferent, leaving some parents we surveyed wondering if he might be too old for it.

The $80 price tag also scared some off.

As always, this is an unscientific test with unscientific results.
