Now for the test many have been waiting for...the ShamWow Try-It-Out Tuesday.
First, we tested the shams on a spilled cup of coffee. It quickly absorbed the liquid and we were able to clean up the mess with only the ShamWow. It was much better than using a handful of paper towels. We had to ring out the ShamWow a few times to completely clean up the spilled cup of coffee.
Then we tried to see how much the ShamWow absorbed when we placed it in a coffee cup. It soaked up a good half of the cup.
We also tested its stain removing capability. We spilled red wine and coffee on a white fabric. Then we took a damp ShamWow and dabbed the stain. It dried up the liquid right away, but there was still the remnants of a stain.
The ShamWow worked better than your run of the mill shammy, but in our opinion it wasn't a complete "Wow!"
We picked up the entire box of ShamWow's at Bed Bath & Beyond for $20.
