Spring has sprung.  And, with the warm weather, comes the outdoor cooking season.

You may, however, want to do a little spring cleaning on your grill before firing it up this year.

The Grill Daddy promises to sterilize your grill while steaming away baked on food, grease and residue ... but does it work?

We put it to the test for Try-it-out-Tuesday.

Our tester tackled the grime left over from last year, and it seemed to do the trick.

The Grill Daddy worked on last year's leftovers, but had a bit more trouble with the really baked on food.  The tester says the it would be excellent if used routinely.

The only concern we found may be with durability.  But, other 9News staffers also report being satisfied with their Grill Daddies, and most feel it is worth the $14.99 we paid for it at Bed Bath & Beyond.

As always, this is an unscientific test with unscientific results.
