CINCINNATI -- Months after she allegedly plowed into a Colerain Township school and fled the scene, a woman is now facing charges.

The crash happened on February 25 at Greener Elementary on Adams Road.  Colerain Police say 37-year-old Jessica Jay of Colerain drove off after hitting the school and a fire hydrant there around 3 a.m.  The impact was caught by the school's surveillance cameras.

During the investigation, officers say Jay gave them false information about who was driving and refused to cooperate with them.

The accident forced Mount Healthy school officials to cancel classes for a day.

Jay is charged with failure to control and leaving the scene. She is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
