Body Building issued an international recall of all lots and expiration dates of 65 dietary supplement products that were sold on its website.
The company is recalling the products because the Food & Drug Administration believes the products contain ingredients that are steriods. The FDA has advised the company that the Recalled Products may contain the following ingredients that are currently classified, or the FDA believes should be classified, as steroids: "Superdrol," "Madol," "Tren," "Androstenedione," and/or "Turinabol."
The company has not confirmed that the recalled products contain the ingredients.
The long-term effects of steriods include liver damage, male infertility, masculinization of women, short stature in children and increased risk of heart attack, stroke, and death.
Customers who have any of the Recalled Products should stop using them immediately and contact their physician if they have experienced any problems.
