Police are investigating a possible connection in local child enticement cases over the last few months.

The most recent incident happened in Deerfield Township Monday when a man in a white van reportedly approached a young boy on on Stony Hollow Court.

According to the Warren County Sheriff's Department, the man approached the 11-year-old boy at a school bus stop and asked him to get in the van and come play video games.

The suspect is described as:
  • White
  • 50 to 60 years old
  • Tall
  • Pale complexion
  • Muscular build
  • Bald
  • Dark mustache
  • Was wearing glasses and a torn white t-shirt
The suspect's vehicle is described as a small, older white van with white curtains in the windows and rusting on the sides. The van also made a squealing or chirping noise while it was running.

According to police, this incident is similar to other child enticement attempts reported in Clermont County back in February. The two departments are working together to catch this suspect.

Officials are warning Tri-State residents to be on the lookout for this man. Police want to identify him as soon as possible and catch him before he succeeds in luring a child.

If you have any information about this suspect or have seen this van, please call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040 or text (513) 352-3050. You don't have to give your name and you may be eligible for a reward if your tips lead to an arrest.
