this man needs to burn in hell!!!!!!!! this is my nephew that it happened to!!! of course he going to treat his girls like angels!!! my nephew aint his,, everybody else saw a change in him except for his stupid a** MAMA!!!!! his ass need to get hot grease and grits and water all over his body wit his fat a**!!!!!! I DO NOT CARE WHAT NOBODY ELSE SAYS HE DID IT ON PURPOSE!!! you just dont leave a baby in the bath tub by himself first of all!!! second of all it had to take a long time for the bath water to fill up to cover up his legs up to his thighs!!!! third of all when your body is in complete and total shock you are not going to be able to move!!! so HOW DO PPL THINK THAT A LITTLE 18 MONTH OLD WILL BE ABLE TOO!!!! he need his children taken from him and if the mama goes back to him she deserve to have her children taken from her. he looks crazy and trust me looks are not always deceiving!!!!!! he needs to do time hard time!!!

newmom that what happened with your child was truly an accident u didn't tuen on the treadmill then put your child on it my nephew didnt turn on the water then climb in and if u burn your hand u get like a blister not second degree burns that takes a lil more time

I can't say that i haven't had poor judgement, hell my child just broke her foot sever weeks ago, because i left the treadmill key where she could reach it... So i'm in no way a perfect parent, but i have to agree with WCPO22, an 18 month old child is able to climb out of a tub if the water was too hot, something does seem a little odd, if this was truly an accident i'm sure the guilt is eating him up, but if not he should get the Sh** kicked out of him!

That was my nephew that happened 2 and he might be a good father to his own kids but that wasn't his. My nephew knows when something is hot he would have got out

I know him and I know he is an excellent father...The news hype it so much...

This was an accident...All the comments is not called for b/c I am pretty sure a couple of you have let your children seen or do some things that should land you in jail also...

Yes I agree this man did have a horrible lapse in judgement but at the expense of a child, thats what makes it so sad.

i think all of you people need to admit that horrible mistakes happen sometime. He has other children and is a very nice man and good father..he had a horrible lapse of judgement which we've all had at one time or another, but luckily for most of us, it only effects ourselves, not someone else we love. I'[m sure this guilt will eat him alive.. My heart goest out to him and his family and the little baby.

I agree with theerk...at least impliment some sort of policy where the hospital keeps the baby after birth until the parents can prove they are not total incompetents. forget fluoride, let's pump birth control into the water supply!

Just another crazy person in Reading. Rid of him - lock his behind in jail and hopefully some of the inmates will take care of him real good. Good enough that he won't ever want to do that again.
