Many people claim that there's really no difference between their current analog set and a new pricey High Definition set.
But that's not the case, as we explain in HD101.
The biggest difference is something called the aspect ratio.
Analog sets deliver a picture in four by three, almost square.
Digital HDTV sets provide a 16 by 9 widescreen picture, similar to a movie screen.
On top of that, an HD picture is much more sharp...so it really is like watching a movie
Zach Fontenot of hh gregg says customers are amazed by the perfect picture on the HD sets in their store.
If you want ot see for yourself ...Just stop by hh gregg, where we shot our scenes, or Best Buy or Circuit City...And look at the TV's.
Caution: Make sure you are watching a true high def picture.
Discount stores often run fuzzy analog signals through their HDTVs, which is not the same.
Don't waste your money!
