Baby Floaters Recalled

If you have a baby or young grandchild you need to know about a major recall of baby floaters....just in time for the holiday.

Aqua Leisure is recalling four million inflatable baby floats for pools, because they are a drowning risk. The CPSC has 31 cases where the leg straps tore, and a baby slipped into the water.

These inflatable baby floaters were sold from 2002 - 2009 at:

  • Wal-Mart
  • Target
  • Toys r Us
  • Kmart
  • Walgreens
  • Ace Hardware
  • Bed Bath and Beyond

Stop using it, and check with the store where you bought it.

Crib Recall Expanded

And another important recall for parents: Simplicity is recalling 400 thousand baby cribs....in addition to to several hundred thousand cribs it recalled last year.

The problem in both cases: The drop side can fall, trapping a baby.

If you have a Simplicity drop side crib, check with the store where you bought it for a possible credit: Simplicity is now out of business.

Kroger Beef Recall

Kroger is recalling some store brand beef sold this spring: click the link above for details.

As always, don't waste your money.  I'm John Matarese.
