Grandpa. I know about the ceremony because I know people who were there. It wasn't WCPO I was directing my comments at, but thetruthhurts who said these ceremonies are all pomp and circumnstance. And, it's true. Why don't these individuals deserve an award? Is it there fault that the budget is cut. Believe me, there was NOT a lot of money spent on these awards. And the awards were given out at a regularly scheduled weekly meeting!!! Get the facts before you comment.

These people recieved an award for doing an acceptional job. Why put them down for protecting your community?!?! I say thank you to them and I hope they forget the ungrateful SOB's that are so negative and quick to judge. If you are so f'n concerned about the ceremony call and find out where is was!!!

Read the article again. Not a word, about details of the ceremony. For all we know, millions were spent. sab44, take your complaint up with WCPO.

You are wrong. The ceremony was in a conference room before his weekly staff meeting and it lasted approximately 35 minutes for all awards to be presented. Afterwards, everyone went back to work. Know what you are talking about before you comment.

You think the awards are expensive. You should see the Awards Ceremony. I used to attend the ceremony several years ago. Its combined with the Loveland Symmes Fire Department's award ceremony. Congrats to the employees awarded, unfortunately it's only being put out for all to see because your bogus leader is trying to play politics. I just can't stand SLICK SI'. He is so arrogant, during the award ceremonies he would always show up late about 10-15 minutes. When he enters the building, his bagpipe team plays the Marine Corps Hymn (HORAH)(SEMPER FI) and all former USMC and all of his employees stand. GET OVER YOURSELF AND DO WHATS RIGHT FOR YOUR COUNTY!!!!!!!!!!!
