Police Investigate Fatal Ind. Crash

On Friday, August 7, 2009, at approximately 10:07 p.m. one teen was killed and several others were injured in a head-on collision. The crash took place on US 50 and State Route 350 in Aurora, Ind.

A blue 2000 Buick lost control, struck a guardrail and entered the oncoming travel lane where it was struck by an oncoming silver 2000 Ford.

The Buick Passengers were: Matthew Meyers, 19, of Dillsboro, Indiana who died on scene. Jedidah Evans, of Moores Hills, Indiana and the driver, a 17-year-old female.

The Ford passengers were: Burgandy Roeder, 18, of Dillsboro, Indiana, a 17-year-old female and the driver, also a 17-year-old female.

Some were transported via medical helicopters to University Hospital with serious injuries. Those who sustained minor injuries were ground transported to Dearborn County, Indiana Hospital.
